Rianna Burgess, a 22-year-old student in her final year of the University of Alberta's music and education combined degree program, discovered her passion for music at age 6 through piano lessons, later transitioning to the oboe in 7th grade. Her teachers on oboe have included Lidia Khaner and Beth Levia. She has been the principal oboist of many ensembles including the University of Alberta Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Orchestra, as well as the Edmonton Youth Orchestra. Rianna's recognitions include being a featured soloist with the Wye String Ensemble and being the recipient of multiple scholarships at local and regional music competitions. Rianna is passionate about music being accessible for all as she works
towards becoming a music teacher.

Edmonton trumpet player and Loyal Edmonton Regiment military reserve band musician Jordan Nahamko is a recently graduated student from the University of Alberta music program with a major in trumpet performance. While at the University of Alberta, Jordan has had the privilege of performing in the Concert Band, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and the University Symphony Orchestra. Since Graduating in 2023, Jordan has gone on to perform across Canada as part of the 2023 Ceremonial Guard in Ottawa, Ontario. Jordan is working on an after-degree in music education and plans on obtaining a masters in orchestral conducting as well. Jordan hopes to inspire others to pursue their passions both in music and in life.
